Qualcomm says it has new marketing chief

Qualcomm has placed Jeff Jacobs into a new role as chief marketing officer, the wireless telecommunications company, quoted by an Associated Press report, said.

Jacobs, currently an executive vice president, has led global business development and will now oversee all marketing and communications, the Associated Press report said.

Qualcomm also named Peggy Johnson as executive vice president of the Americas and India. Johnson previously served as executive vice president and president of Qualcomm internet Services/MediaFLO Technologies, the report said.
