Redknee customer care solution sets new benchmark

Redknee said that, in collaboration with Microsoft, NEC, Intel and X-IO, its billing and customer care solution TCB on SQL Server 2012 has surpassed the largest benchmark test results in the industry to 250 million subscribers.
 
The solution also reduced the database cost of ownership to less than one cent per subscriber.
 
TCB built on SQL Server 2012 enables operators to save with a reduced upfront database investment and to substantially lower costs over the life of the system.
 
Results of a comprehensive performance and scalability test show that TCB on SQL Server 2012 can support the volumes of the largest operators and meet their cost-efficiency requirements.
 
These benchmark results were based on lower hardware costs, lower software costs, simpler systems management and lower staffing costs, lower maintenance costs, and lower storage costs.
