The number of Dutch households with quad-play subscriptions -- combining fixed services with mobile plans -- increased to more than 700,000 at the end of 2015, according to a new report from Telecompaper. The research firm noted that more than 10 per cent of all broadband subscriptions were part of quad-play plans at the end of the fourth quarter of 2015, up from 6.1 per cent a year earlier. Total revenue generated by Dutch telecom operators from multiplay subscriptions grew to over €1 billion ($1.1 billion) in the fourth quarter of 2015, up by 7.5 per cent compared with the same quarter in 2014.
