Report: European operators expand M2M activity with new offerings

Deutsche Telekom, Telenor and Telefónica have all recently announced new offerings based on machine-to-machine technology, according to a report from Rethink Wireless. DT has joined forces with DriveFactor to offer a usage-based insurance service, while the Norwegian company's Telenor Connexion unit has announced a deal with Japan's KDDI to provide a global M2M offering for enterprise clients.
