Report: Mobile gambling to reach 40% of total online gambling market by 2018

The online gambling and betting segment is increasing and is being enhanced by the spread of smartphones and tablet computers, according to a new report from Hamburg-based secondary research organisation yStats.com. Mobile gambling is expected to grow at double-digit rates and to reach over 40 per cent of the total online gambling market by 2018, as the number of mobile gambling users increases by 100 million. Europe has been a leader in adopting regulation for online gambling, but as the activity spreads yStats.com notes that new measures are being enacted.
