Comptel said Romanian service provider Romtelecom has deployed Comptel Provisioning and Activation to manage its multi-vendor CDMA network.
The deployment addressed Romtelecom’s need for a provisioning and activation solution that would allow it to deliver services faster to its customers.
CIO Fotis Karonis said Romtelecom is using the CDMA license to complement its services’ portfolio via wireless broadband, offering its customers the full range of broadband products, as well as to serve areas not within the coverage of the present fixed line infrastructure.
The Comptel solution automates the provisioning and activation processes, covering the entire workflow from service order to start of billing.
