RTB, AsiaSat forge lease agreement

Public broadcaster Radio Television Brunei has signed a lease agreement with Asia Satellite Telecommunications Co. Ltd. for the use of C-band capacity on AsiaSat 2 for free-to-air distribution of the RTB International channel, serving viewers in Asia, Australasia and the Middle East.


RTB International will start broadcasting on AsiaSat 2 on Sept. 1, providing programming in Malay and English 24 hours a day on a comprehensive range of content, including news, current affairs, religion, drama, musicals, game shows, documentaries, sports, magazines and educational programs.
