South Korea's Samsung , the world's second-biggest mobile phone maker, said it sold a record 42.6 million handsets in the third quarter, with a slight increase in the average selling price, a Reuters report said.
The Reuters report further said margins at Samsung's telecommunications division rose to 12% from 8% in the April-June quarter, the company said.
