Sonatel (Orange Senegal) has deployed Volubill’s fully compliant charging software to manage traffic flow and launch new service packages for its subscribers.
With some 99% of Sonatel’s 7.1 million customers using pre-paid plans, charging software was required to launch new competitive pre-paid plans.
Multi-play packages have been introduced, including Orange Money and Bonus Zone, an offer which allows pre-paid customers to benefit from price reductions when calls are made to Orange numbers from zones where network usage rate is low.
By using Volubill Business System, Sonatel expects to uncover new opportunities by quickly defining and launching pricing models, providing device plans and supporting combinations of service for pre-paid subscribers.
