BSS vendor Sicap has installed its Sicap Revenue Assurance solution on parent company Swisscom's pre-paid billing infrastructure.
Sicap said it was able to identify 23 revenue leakage scenarios for Swisscom, which it was now monitoring in real-time.
Examples of services with charging issues include pre-paid voice, SMS and data services on both the domestic network and while roaming.
“Sicap RA is a simple and highly efficient tool which prevents lost revenue from OSS/BSS and network incidents,” Swisscom head of revenue assurance Rose Moura said.
“We quickly detect any inconsistency in our prepaid platform and are able to take action appropriate to the calculated risk.”
