German electronics giant Siemens is seeking partners for different parts of its fixed-line networks business, an AFP report said.
The report also quoted union sources as saying that Siemens chairman Klaus Kleinfeld said the company 'has no plans' of selling the division outright.
The report said that according to union sources, Kleinfeld had met with employees and told them he was seeking partners for a range of businesses within the communications or COM division.
However, Siemens had no current plans to sell the division outright, the sources said.
