Six new members will join TM Forum’s board of directors in 2012, reflecting a rapidly growing membership as communications and other sectors converge.
The new appointees include David Burton (CTO, North Atlantic Treaty Organization), Don Rae (SVP, Axiata Group), Dean Walters (CIO, UPC Liberty Global) Che Haiping, (CTO, Huawei Software), Michael Matthews, (head of strategy and business development, Nokia Siemens Networks), and Karl Penaluma, (president, BT Group).
These new directors add knowledge to a group that sets strategy, direction and priorities for TM Forum’s 800-plus member companies.
TM Forum’s board of directors represents industry sectors and geographies through senior executives, 60% of whom represent service providers.
