Jacques Champeaux, head of regulatory affairs at France Telecom, has warned against regulating new markets, such as data roaming, after EU telecoms commissioner Viviane Reding confirmed a July 1 deadline for mobile companies to lower their SMS and data roaming charges or face regulation.
