SPOTLIGHT: Mobile search revenues set for growth

The annual revenues generated by mobile search services are expected to reach US$4.8 billion by 2013, according to a new report from Juniper Research. At present mobile search revenues are significantly higher than those generated by mobile advertising but this gap will close over the next five years. The report says that local search services will be most popular with advertisers, attracting 40 per cent of mobile search ad spending over the 2008-2013 time period. Article
