A new market study from IMS Research outlines a less than positive picture for WiFi-enabled handsets. According to Bill Morelli from IMS, "From very few shipments in 2006 (1.6 per cent of the global total), shipments of WiFi equipped handsets are forecast to reach nearly one in five of annual shipments by 2012.
