Stollmann, Comprion tackle NFC testing

NFC companies Stollmann and Comprion are collaborating to accelerate availability of compatible devices, by cutting testing times.

The duo has automated the NFC Forum’s device test application, which they state speeds up the process by enabling test operators’ to configure a batch of test cases on a central server, which then handles communication with the necessary test specifications.

The firms claim the approach will also reduce the amount of errors often found in manually-activated testing.

Demonstrations of the pair’s efforts will be made during this week’s Mobile World Congress.
