Study: 3G will continue to dominate in 2011 as 4G starts to take off

The consultancy firm Deloitte has released marketing research that claims to forecast the top themes and trends for the telecommunications sector in 2011. Most importantly, the company predicts that 3G networks will continue to be the dominant wireless networking platform of choice throughout 2011 even as 4G networks (HSPA+, WiMAX and LTE) begin to proliferate in the market and demand for faster mobile data upload and download speeds continues to increase.
