Study: Tablets lack consumer appeal in UK

Despite the hype surrounding tablets--greatly assisted by manufacturers churning them out--consumers in the UK remain largely disinterested in these shiny new gadgets, according to a new survey. According to a study conducted by Broadbandgenie.co.uk, 75 per cent of UK consumers surveyed said they wouldn't be purchasing a tablet or Apple iPad in 2011. Only 9 per cent indicated that they definitely would pay for one of these devices, rising to 20 per cent "if the price was right."  Article
