Study: Worldwide mobile messages to exceed 7.5 trillion in 2011

The number of mobile text, picture and video messages sent on a global basis will exceed 7.5 trillion in 2011, according to a new report from research firm Ovum. That number will mark a 12.5 per cent increase over the 6.7 trillion messages sent in 2010.
