The business case for mobile TV is not yet proven and yet operators are still keen to develop the service, the main reason being a frim belief that mobile TV is emerging to be one of the next important mobile applications.

This white paper aims on answering the key issues facing mobile TV deployment within a holistic framework.

Starting with user and market perspectives, this work discusses mobile TV and related complementary services as well as a generic business model and business case.

Furthermore, it addresses releavant issues such as spectrum allocation, content rights and regulation as well as an assessment of the main risks threatening mobile TV deployment.
