Survey: Prepaid customers to get postpaid services

According to a survey commissioned by OSS vendor Amdocs, 73 per cent of mobile operators are planning to expand the services they deliver to their prepaid customers to include those traditionally only offered to those on postpaid contracts. The research, conducted by Ovum, also found that nearly half of the service providers polled said they needed to make moderate to large changes to their business and operational support systems (B/OSS) in order to answer the technical challenges involved in expanding prepaid services.
