Telcordia is now a member of the SAMENA Telecommunications Council, a telecom consortium covering South Asia, Middle East and North Africa.
The purpose for joining the group is to further strengthen the company’s global reach and regional presence.
Telcordia has a strong footprint in the SAMENA region, with key customers including Etisalat, Du, Orange Jordan and Saudi Telecom, among others. Telcordia also works closely with regulators and operators in Egypt, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
The SAMENA Telecommunications Council promotes telecom innovation, collaboration and knowledge-sharing to encourage the development of world-class global telecom solutions. It aims to provide a unified, consensus-based platform for leading operators and service providers in the region.
