Telefonica O2 Czech Republic is to deploy Comverse's Mobile Instant Messaging (IM) solution.
'We are pleased to be the first operator in the country to introduce IM into the mobile environment to meet growing consumer demand,' said Jan Karas, Director for Residential Segment Marketing at Telefonica O2 Czech Republic.
Comverse's presence-enabled IM supports a range of communication and content services, with a chat-like interface showing dialogue history, contact presence indication and multimedia capabilities (picture, audio and video).
