Telenor has contracted Ontology Systems to provide semantic processing capability for its OSS/BSS infrastructure in Denmark.
Telenor Denmark has implemented Ontology's OSS/CAD suite across its entire OSS infrastructure.
It will be used to align customer, service, network and infrastructure data from nine OSS and network systems, presenting a unified view of the results.
Ontology said Telenor Denmark would be able to automate what had once taken up to a week of manual analysis.
The implementation took 18 weeks starting in late 2009, Ontology said.
