Telenor to roll out Microsoft mobile e-mail in Sweden

Norwegian telecom operator Telenor will start offering Microsoft Windows' mobile e-mail service to its subscribers in Sweden, according to a Dow Jones report.

The report said the service, which was based on the operating system Windows Mobile 5.0, would allow users to directly access their Microsoft Office Outlook through their mobile phones.

The company said e-mails would be streamed to the telephone in real time without the user having to manually check for messages, according to the report.
