Texas-based Peoples Telephone Cooperative has selected the CommSoft Service Activation Suite (VTC) to automatically provision Internet services for its subscribers.
Faced with the typical challenges of a rural cooperative, Peoples needs to modernize its network infrastructure and deliver services effectively.
To concurrently deliver voice, Internet, wireless, and alarm services, automation is the key, CommSoft says. Already a user of CommSoft's VTC for voice services, the easy expansion into Internet provisioning is a natural step, according to Peoples.
VTC will be used to activate the Affiliate Management Billing Interface from ZCorum. When complete, VTC will be tightly integrated with the billing system and pick up requests directly from service orders.
