OSS vendor TierOne has launched version 7.1 of its NETPortal product suite, adding Ethernet support to the automated service management software.
NETPortal has been designed to help service providers deliver enterprise services with speed and accuracy. The suite maps customers to their services and network devices, enabling precise customer management.
Release 7.1 adds support for Ethernet links and networks, Ethernet over Layer 1 transport, Ethernet services, and VLAN and QinQ service configurations.
The new solution also generates router commands that can be executed directly with a script, for customers who prefer manual activation over automation.
