Time Warner Cable buys Sincera product

Time Warner Cable has purchased Sincera Consulting’s Simple Automated Services Interface (SASI) Loader, a new product that allows users of Telcordia Technologies’ Granite Inventory application to automate end-user activities.

With the SASI Loader, Time Warner Cable expects to reduce time and costs associated with manual updating, as the product automates “large, repetitive, and time-intensive” update activities that have to be done manually through the Granite client.

The new system also increases data accuracy, Sincera says. SASI Loader uses Granite’s Advanced Services Interface, the Java-based API that supports interaction with the Granite application and database.

Using this API, the changes and updates processed by SASI Loader automatically honor the business logic built into Granite that governs the functionality of the application and validates the inventory data.
