TM Forum has launched a conformance certification program for its Frameworx integrated business and IT architecture framework.
The program will allow service providers, vendors and systems integrators to independently assess their compliance with the framework.
It hopes to serve as a benchmark for future conformance investments and reduce the cost, timeframe and risk associated with integrating new products or services.
Frameworx has been designed to serve as a blueprint for a service provider's operational back office.
It defines standard process and information models required to run the business and the major systems that implement and automate business processes.
