tyntec extends patent pool

Mobile interaction firm tyntec has beefed up its patent pool in Europe, Asia Pacific, and the US, with fresh awards covering its Distributed SMS-C technology.

The new patents cover tyntec’s technology for application to person (A2P) and person to person (P2P) SMS on global communications networks, and will aid the company’s ability to integrate its messaging solutions in carrier networks, a statement explains.

Thorsten Trapp, co-founder and chief technology officer, says the patent award is “exciting” and affirms the firm’s products in a “demanding market.”

tyntec provides interaction services to enterprises, web firms, social media companies, telecoms businesses, mobile operators, and MVNOs, for 30 carrier partners.
