Mobile interaction specialist tyntec is providing SMS verification for casual games developer GameDuell, which has 80 million users globally.
Kai Bolik, co founder and chief executive of Germany-headquartered GameDuell, says tyntec provides the security and reliability his firm needs to verify its customers. The firm offers a suite of 70 games in seven languages in countries including the US, UK, France, Germany and Austria.
“SMS is a convenient and secure mechanism for quick user verification,” Bolik says.
tyntec chief Steve Liddell agrees, noting that SMS “is rapidly being adopted as the default mechanic for strong ID authentication,” and that mobile phone’s are “the most effective and convenient means of transmitting verification requests.”
