Universal mobile phone charger expected in early 2011

The European Commission announced that the first universal mobile phone chargers will arrive in Europe in the first months of 2011. The chargers, which will charge phones using micro-USB slots, will be interoperable between several mobile phone manufacturers. The universal chargers are the result of a 2009 agreement between 14 mobile phone makers, including Nokia, Apple, Motorola, LGE, Sony Ericsson and more. Article
