Armenian cellco VivaCell-MTS has launched Redknee’s Airtime Reseller; a service that enables voucher-less, airtime top-up for the operator’s prepaid customers.
According to Redknee, its Airtime Reseller will allow VivaCell-MTS to enable resellers to trade over the wireless network with subscribers.
This can be done by providing sellable airtime that is purchased on the mobile handset, eliminating the need for retail vouchers or physical top-up cards.
For example, a reseller can purchase airtime minutes from the operator, then sells this airtime to the subscriber through a voucher-less mobile-to-mobile transaction.
