Vodafone Group claimed it had reached its target of over 10 million customers for its Vodafone live! 3G services, a Dow Jones report said.
"This is an important milestone for Vodafone and I am very pleased that we have achieved our target ahead of time. It is also clear that our customers value the additional services and benefits of Vodafone live! with 3G," Dow Jones quoted Vodafone CEO Arun Sarin as saying.
When Vodafone launched 3G services in November 2004, the company said it expected over 10 million customers to be using Vodafone live! with 3G by March.
