Vodafone buys Czech fixed line operator BroadNet

Vodafone Czech Republic has completed the acquisition of fixed line service provider BroadNet Czech and will merge its activities into Vodafone's own local services.

BroadNet provides voice, data and internet services to hundreds of business clients in the Czech Republic and operates its own fixed wireless access broadband network in the 26 and 28 GHz bandwidths.

Through the acquisition, Vodafone plans to expand its portfolio of converged services for corporations.
