Webwire: Apple delays iPad 2 in Japan; Verizon preps first LTE phone

Apple has delayed the launch of the iPad 2 in Japan indefinitely following last week’s devastating earthquake. The device was scheduled to go on sale on March 25.
 
Verizon Wireless will launch its first LTE smartphone, the Android-powered HTC ThunderBolt, tomorrow. The device will retail for $250 (€179) on a two-year contract.
