Revenue assurance firm WeDo Technologies is tapping leading US carriers by acquiring managed services provider Connectiv Solutions.
WeDo Technologies aims to tap Connectiv’s current contracts in the US to strengthen its presence in the market. The US firm counts four of the country’s top ten wireless carriers among its ten contracts, and generated around $8 million (€6 million) in revenue in 2011.
Rui Paiva, WeDo Technologies’ chief executive, explains the acquisition helps the firm achieve a key goal to become a major player in revenue assurance and fraud management in North America “on SaaS and managed services business models.”
The firm predicts Connectiv’s local credentials will be important in gaining the trust of new customers, and that its higher profile in the region will boost innovation.
