Senior vice president of global publishing for Glu Mobile
We've seen a number of executives come and go in the mobile content arena as that industry segment struggles with consolidation and slower growth. But one female executive who has proven her staying power is industry veteran Jill Braff, senior vice president of global publishing at Glu Mobile. Braff leads Glu's worldwide publishing efforts, which include licensing, marketing and sales. Since joining the company in 2003, Braff has become an outspoken advocate for mobile gaming and is a frequent speaker at wireless industry events.
Braff is credited with overseeing Glu's launch of the popular Atari DRIV3R mobile game, which the company says created an industry template for launching a mobile game. In addition, she has been credited with helping Glu maintain its high profile in the mobile gaming industry by snagging some key licensing deals, including the popular Guitar Hero franchise.
Of course, with the recent news that long-time Glu President and CEO Greg Ballard is resigning and the company is looking for a successor, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for Braff.
