What has happened since it was awarded the Fierce 15: The company tests UMTS/GSM handsets sold in the United States, as well as CDMA handsets. In 2008, the company expanded into the U.K. and Taiwan, and also operates in India and Brazil. Metrico's test and measurement capabilities now include data and location-centric devices and smartphones, but the company also continues to evaluate feature phones, Bluetooth headsets and smartphones.
