What has happened since it was awarded the Fierce 15: Since 2003, NetMotion Wireless has grown dramatically in terms of customers and revenues. Its flagship solution, mobile Virtual Private Network Mobility XE, is now used by more than 1,600 businesses and agencies around the world. NetMotion's mobile VPN is used in several industries, including health care (where the software is used by some of the largest visiting nurses and home health care agencies in North America), public safety (where it is deployed in more than 60 percent of the largest public-safety organizations in the United States), insurance (where it helps field agents at some of the largest U.S. insurance companies), utilities, local government, transportation and others.
