Why it was a Fierce 15: PacketVideo was selected for its streaming video platform that was compatible with almost any type of 2.5G or 3G network. The technology was being incorporated into the network of NTT DoCoMo's FOMA 3G network as well as the networks of Sprint, Sonera and SK Telecom.
