ABI: Stimulus bill to fund $6.8B worth of wireless upgrades

The federal stimulus bill will provide funding for a massive $6.8 billion worth of wireless communications upgrades and new deployments during 2009 and 2010, says a new report from ABI Research. The firm said the stimulus package will benefit WiFi and wireless broadband vendors playing in the health care, energy and homeland security markets. Release
