Analyst estimates LG Electronics holds bulk of LTE patents

Jefferies & Co. analyst Peter Misek has pored through some 1,400 patents to determine what companies hold the bulk of LTE patents. His conclusion: LG Electronics. While the quality of patents weren't taken into account, Misek estimates LG Electronics holds about 23 percent of LTE patents. He reasons that Qualcomm holds 21 percent. Article
