CENX unveils Ethernet service orchestration software with a customer win

PALO ALTO, Calif.--CENX launched its Ethernet Lifecycle Manager solution with a multimillion-dollar order from a Tier 1 service provider, which will use the platform across its 4G mobile backhaul network. The new product orchestrates carrier Ethernet transport services to improve Ethernet inventory integrity and automates ordering and provisioning, said the company, which made the announcement during the Carrier Network Virtualization event here. The CENX solution aggregates data from existing operational support systems, network elements and other disparate sources. It provides end-to-end visualization of Ethernet services, including off-net services, provided by third-party alternate access providers. For more, see this release.
