Digicel to launch WiMAX to residential customers in Jamaica

Digicel, a dominant operator in the Caribbean, is expected to launch WiMAX services to residents in Jamaica within a year, according to BNamericas. The operator has been offering WiMAX service to corporate customers for the past three years in the 3.5 GHz band.
