By now you have been inundated with iPhone news, but an interesting analysis piece from marketing consulting firm Blackfriars Communications says that Apple may have sold about 500,000 iPhones this weekend. The firm said it clocked people walking out of Apple stores with new iPhones at rates of one to three a minute, which translates into anywhere from 50 to 200 phones going out of each of Apple's 162 stores altogether. Even more surprising is the fact that Apple iPhone stocks seem to be holding up, and it appears that Apple bet big on manufacturing lots of phones.
