The FCC is planning a number of auctions during the next two or three years that could free up as much as 200 MHz of spectrum. The TV broadcast spectrum incentive auctions have received the most attention during the past few years, but there are several other auctions on deck as well. FierceWireless has taken an in-depth look at the upcoming auctions, which aim to open up the 600 MHz band; the PCS "H Block" (1915-1920 MHz and 1995-2000 MHz); the 1695-1710 MHz band, along with possibly the 2095-2110 MHz band; plus the 2155-2180 MHz band, which could be paired with the 1755-1780 MHz band.
