Chinese vendor Huawei Technologies has begun interoperability testing of NextWaveBroadband's mobile WiMAX chipsets with Huawei's WiMAX infrastructure equipment. NextWave also announced it is testing Huawei's commercial WiMAX equipment at its trial network facility in Henderson, Nevada. NextWave is testing handover, mobility, and enhanced services such as Voice-over-IP (VoIP) and video streaming.
