The demand for netbooks and smartphones spurred the mobile broadband card market to grow 10 percent in the first half of 2009, said a new report from Infonetics. The firm predicts the market for mobile broadband cards will reach $8.4 billion by 2013. The firm also expects the number of mobile broadband subscribes to reach nearly 1 billion by 2013. Article
