Ireland 3 struggles with HSDPA

Customers of 3 Ireland are complaining about their HSDPA connections frequently dropping out and websites disappearing from the network on a regular basis. 3 Ireland is using HSDPA as a fixed broadband service, but problems arise because connections are dependent on the distance to the nearest cell. Therefore, customers in more remote areas suffer from slower speeds and inconsistent connections. Bigger complaints are coming from 3 Ireland's inability to manage an SMTP service, the basic requirement for email service.
